In effect, the presiding judge of the Superior Court of Justice and the Judicial Council, Dr. Pedro Antonio Enriquez Soto, along with representatives of the executive and legislative branches of state met Monday in Mexico City with the technical secretary of the Coordinating Council for the Implementation of the Criminal Justice System, Mr. Felipe Borrego Estrada, who has expressed interest in the judicial authorities Nayarit state to sign agreement to promote oral penal reform. Dr. Enriquez Soto reported to Mr. Borrego Estrada in accordance with Governor Ney Gonzalez, in his exposition of the "Axis of the Bicentennial," the Judiciary of Nayarit intends to implement the oral proceedings in justice for adolescents as pilot effort, and stated that this would be to develop appropriate legislative initiatives, preparing estate and technology infrastructure, and most importantly, the training of human and institutional structure operating the system.

The meeting with the technical secretary of the Coordinating Council for the Implementation of the Criminal Justice System, also attended by the attorney general, Oscar Humberto Herrera López, and legal secretary of state executive, Hector Manuel Benitez Pineda and as the deputy Roberto Lomeli Madrigal, president of the Committee on Justice and Human Rights Congress State.

Referring to the interview, the presiding judge said the constitutional reform on criminal raises additional commitments to be fulfilled soon, in 2011, this is the case for the establishment of justices of the enforcement of judgments, for that the judiciary of the state shall assume the functions now under the executive branch, "and we provide what is necessary to respond to this new constitutional obligation."

Soto Enriquez noted that under the designated federal constitutional amendment is also necessary to implement the system of justice Nayarit alternative to relieve the burdens of the trial proceedings and contribute to the generation of a culture of peace, mediation and conciliation as alternative ways of finding solutions to disputes between individuals.
