The Expendables, or the return of the old school

I confersame . As a teenager, I writing in a notebook the idea of \u200b\u200bscript for an action film about a group of special forces was resolve a very dangerous mission bla bla bla bla ... Yes, in my way, I made a script with dialogue, scenes, and the whole thing. The thing -as I call it now, was simple: five types experts in all kinds of weapons and handing control hitting, kicking, biting, bullets, fire and insulting a group of bad-bad that they wanted to get away with it. thing kept saved by there until one day I decided to fire along with other rubbish.

Never showed it to anyone and I think my brother is the only one who came to get an idea of \u200b\u200bwhat he did, but why mention this now? So happens that last night, thanks to Don Lord -a character of my surroundings, I was pleased to see Expendables The (mercenaries), the new film directed by and starring Sylvester Stallone along with a select group of actors in the action genre, as Jason Statham ( The Transporter ) Jet Lee (Romeo Must die ) Dolph Lundgren (Universal Soldier ) , among others, and special participation Bruce Willies and Mickey Rourke , and a cameo special Arnold Schwarzenegger .

This movie reminded me, with laughter including my teenage experiment, not because I feel that someone has stolen an idea or because I saw an identical what I had written, but because, like all films of this genre, and more the "old school" seem to have been written by a group of teenagers while playing with video games ( ATARI in my time) or while listening to an album or POISON KISS !

And that is precisely what I find "nice", to re-find the way to film scenes as simple and carefree as only the old school knew. Forget

you art or film language. Do not expect a script to take care of their fluency or its consistency or reason to expect something to appear or disappear from the plot. Do not attempt to analyze the psychological profile of the characters or much less try to find explanation to what happens in front of you during the hundred minute-long film. Nor ask because people who appears in the film speaking English it is as if they had never spoken. No! It is best to take your popcorn, your soda and then, for a moment, if that teenager was once.

I say: I do not see that movie again once more, but I had so much fun watching from the first sequence, or rather, from the first shot Gunner performing , the character played Dolph Lundgren .

guess I only wish happened if he had persuaded Van Dame, Steven Seagal , Lou Ferrigno or Chuck Norris of participate in this film . These, like those involved in the film, are also the group of actors old school action film. Yes, cinema / school that needed more than a girl in trouble or a bad picking on a couple of innocent arm of San Quentin and share free bullets who is put in front.

The great merit of the film is that it does not take it very seriously, knowing perfectly what group / gender in the film belong, dedicated just to film what they do best: be the rough type film.

Good for them.

seems that things went so well that there are plans to make a sequel of the matter. Perhaps it appears some of the actors mentioned that do not appear in this release.

Do not take you seriously either, and if you do not know what you mean by "old school ", please Refrain from watching the movie. not even find the trailer . Better go back to the eighties and give yourself a good walk in the nineties and find the movie of the actors mentioned, and only then , achieved feel that, despite all the nonsense you see on Expendables The , lost no time.

I wonder Utes Why not save * that notebook? Maybe it would been sold to a study right now, after this film revived the "old school".

Indeed, Giselle EITI appears a lot of clothes ... never mind.
