The lawyer Eduardo Rodríguez Montes, new executive member of the Local Executive Board of the Federal Electoral Institute (IFE) Thursday went to the Palace of Justice in the capital of Nayarit submitted to Judge Jorge Armando Gómez Arias, president of the Superior Court of Justice and Constitutional Court of the Judiciary Electoral Nayarit.
in the session, Judge Gómez Arias welcomed our organization the new representative of the IFE and offered the necessary assistance in the field of competence of the Judiciary of Nayarit in electoral matters.
For his part, Rodriguez Montes announced that following integration, the said Electoral Constitutional Court is a sister agency of the IFE, and therefore should be very much in touch, strengthen its partnerships and enhance the capabilities of both institutions.
After the meeting, the official, who on Wednesday was sworn law at the special meeting of the Local Executive Board in Nayarit IFE, announced that the body is kept busy in the aspect of updating the list with a view to 2012 electoral process, which will begin in October next year and in the aspect of civic education. On this last point
said "we are aware of the need for citizens to strengthen its involvement in the electoral process and we are holding workshops with the educational model of democratic participation." -*-
